The Department of State Security (DSS) has again summoned former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Dr Obadiah Mailafiya, over a claim he made that a Northern governor is the leader of Boko Haram terrorist sect.
Recall that Mailafiya had said that the commander of the deadly Boko Haram sect was a serving Northern governor during an interview on Nigerian Info radio station two weeks.
He was first invited by the security agents in Jos, Plateau State on Wednesday over the interview. Mailafia arrived at the DSS office located within West of Mines street around 12:30 pm in a Range Rover vehicle marked Abuja 843 LX but was released a few hours after he was invited.
But according to his lawyer, Bawa Ba Esq, Mailafiya is set to be at the DSS office Jos by 12 noon on Monday. The lawyer noted that the invitation is normal for further discussion and a buildup to the previous one.
He believed that the invitation of his client will not be anything different from the last encounter, which he said was purely interactive.
