The founder of the RIG Nation and Pioneer Church, United Kingdom (UK), Apostle Tomi Arayomi who was arrested and detained by the Department of State Services (DSS) earlier on Friday at a Lagos Airport, has been released.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that this update was disclosed by the pastor’s associate, Byocean Emerald, via her Facebook page.
Emerald, an artist, wrote: “Hallelujah, Apostle Tomi Arayomi and his wife was just released!!
Tobi Arayomi just got word they are out.”
This newspaper reports that Arayomi was apprehended by operatives of the DSS for alleged politics-related prophecies he made.
The accused cleric had been making predictions about the 2023 Nigerian elections and the outcomes.
Ahead of the elections, he urged Nigerians to vote for an “outsider”.
