The Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shuaibu, has relocated his office to a new location outside the Government House.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the new office is situated at No. 7, Dennis Osadebey Avenue, close to the Government House.
The development follows last week’s withdrawal of Shuaibu’s suit filed at the Federal High Court to stop alleged plots by the state governor, Godwin Obaseki, to remove him from office.
It is not yet clear why Shuaibu has relocated his office.
According to sources, the deputy governor says the new office has not been completely renovated.
Shuaibu had filed a suit, alleging that Obaseki was planning to remove him from office by impeaching him. The suit was withdrawn on September 7, 2023.
