BREAKING: EFCC arrests, detains Femi Fani-Kayode for Forgery

Femi Fani-Kayode, the former minister of aviation, has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Punch reports that Fani-Kayode is being held at the Lagos Zonal Office of the anti-graft agency under an investigation for alleged forgery and manipulation of documents.

It can be recalled that Fani-Kayode had decamped to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in September.

Wilson Uwujaren, spokesman of EFCC, confirmed Fani-Kayode’s arrest saying: “I think something like that happened.”

FFK is being accused of forging certain medical documents which he has been using to stall his numerous court cases.

  1. FFK didn’t know that he was safer in Pdp than APC . If it were pdp, shout of victimisation could have filled the land. Now, non of such, it’s like APC is trying to sanitize it’s home.
