The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on Sunday stormed the residence of the immediate-past governor of Zamfara State, Abdulaziz Yari in Talata Mafara area of the state.
POLITICS NIGERIA gathered that operatives of the anti-corruption agency numbering about 20 came in 7 vehicles for the Operation that lasted for hours. They arrived at the residence at 6 pm and left by 11 pm.
It is, however, unclear whether the anti-graft operatives have found anything incriminating during the raid. Eyewitness reports reveal that the governor and his family were not in the house during the raid.
The governor is facing serious scrutiny over alleged misappropriation of state funds to the tune of N251 billion.

It is good for EFCC to vist every state governor to verify how the bail out money was used
The EFCC are doing a good job for the country.
This is a bold step in the positive direction. I so much commend EFCC for this giant courage but, it mustn’t stop there. They should dig deeper to know some of his isolated places of abode for search. More so, they should go after other ex-governors and former ministers as well. This in no small measure will curtail corruption in the nation. Cheer up EFCC !
The problem with them is dat, after stealing our money they go and invest in other countries. otherwise if someone steal money extablish gud hospital,gud schools etc where u can imploy nigerians to work, i dont see any thing wrong with that. good job EFCC but u need to spread teetacles.

Why busting his house when he is not around? Or are you guys just camouflaging to be after some small fish apc governors? what about oshiomhole, fashiola and others who has cases with you, please stop deceiving us.
You Nigerians can be so difficult to please, if it were a PDP governor you would complain, now it’s an APC man you are still not comfortable with it, even if it is Buhari’s house that was raided I tell you, you would still complain!

Why??????? No government officials in Nigeria (present and past) from LGA chairman to the President (present or former) that are not corrupt . Even those who are prosecuting him are all thieves and robbers. Better not to fight corruption than selective fight
EFCC Is really doing their best.for that we as Nigerian’s nothing could be done as a reward unless to pray God to guide and protect them through.
All of the ex-Governors must be checked. Let them give account of stewardship. Kudos EFCC
