The Federal Government has declared Tuesday, October 1, 2024, as a public holiday to commemorate Nigeria’s 64th Independence Day anniversary.
The declaration was made by the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, on behalf of the Federal Government.
In a statement released on Saturday, Tunji-Ojo congratulated Nigerians at home and abroad on the occasion. He praised the patient and hardworking Nigerian men and women, adding that their sacrifices will not be in vain.
