BREAKING: FG Files Lawsuit Against NLC, TUC for Going on Strike

The Federal Government have filed contempt proceedings against the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) for allegedly defying an order restraining the unions from embarking on industrial action.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports the government filed the “notice of consequences of disobedience to order of the court” at the National Industrial Court (NIC) in Abuja, asking the court to punish the unions for disobeying its order.

The NLC together with the TUC embarked on a nationwide protest starting today.

    Lawless people wished to tell the government how to govern. Strange!
