BREAKING: FIFA bans Samson Siasia for Life [REASONS]

Apex football Organization, FIFA has banned Nigerian football Coach and former player, Samson Siasia for life for Match-Fixing.

FIFA on Friday banned Siasia for life after the body’s ethics panel found him guilty of taking bribes in connection with match-fixing. The adjudicatory chamber of FIFA’s independent ethics committee revealed that an investigation into Siasia’s activities originated from a wider investigation involving Wilson Raj Perumal, who has confessed to international match-fixing.

The probe that began in February found Siasia “guilty of having accepted that he would receive bribes in relation to the manipulation of matches in violation of the FIFA Code of Ethics,”.

Siasia was fined 50,000 Swiss francs ($50,000, 46,000 euros) and banned from all football-related activity for life.

  1. His ban will serve as a deterrent to other coaches who are bent on this similar act just for the benefit of self.

    1. It is a pity in africa it begin with a nigerian, this signify d level of poverty this country are running into & how greedy & uncontented we nigerians are.May God help us out of this menes.

  2. I really don’t know how FIFA do their businesses but I think for a damming verdict and consequences like this, FIFA supposed to give full details of the offense committed, I mean, which matches(s), where, when and the collaborators. Am not saying Siasia is not guilty as charged rather am saying we entitled to know the details.
