Abdulmumuni Vaki, a former Taraba State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has died.
POLITICS NIGERIA learnt that Vaki died at the Federal Medical Center (FMC), Jalingo on Wednesday evening after a protracted illness. He was 54.
The deceased was a three-time state Chairman of the PDP in the state and was a member of many federal and Taraba State boards and parastatals.
He was recently appointed a member of the Taraba State Muslims Pilgrimage Board by Governor Darius Ishaku.
The late PDP stalwart is expected to be buried in his home town Gembu, headquarters of Sardauna Local Government Area later on Thursday, in accordance with Islamic rites.
