Former Kaduna central lawmaker, Shehu Sani, has cautioned Sheikh Ahmad Gumi over his recent attack on FCT minister, Nyesom Wike.
Politics Nigeria reports that Gumi had accused Wike of being a “satanic person” over his recent planned partnership with some Israeli security experts.
The controversial Muslim cleric also accused Wike of planning an onslaught against Muslims in Nigeria’s capital city.
But in a tweet on Thursday October 19, Sani urged Gumi to do away with all religious inclinations in his criticism against Wike.
“Wike can be criticised and should be criticised as a public official but the toxic use of religion against him is unconscionable and unacceptable,” Sani said.
Meanwhile, Gumi has also advised President Tinubu to sack Wike immediately or forget about a second term in office.
