BREAKING: Four killed as Unknown Gunmen attack Oil Workers in Imo

Four people have been killed by Unknown Gunmen in Ohaji/Egbema LGA of Imo state, POLITICS NIGERIA has learned.

Four workers of  Lee Engineering Company were shot dead by the assailants in Assa community in the Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area of Imo State.

The oil workers were headed to an oil rig in Assa Community when they were attacked by the gunmen. Several others were wounded by bullets.

The incident was confirmed by Mr. Emmanuel Ugorji, President of Ohaji Youths Congress;

The national president of Congress of Ohaji Youths, Emmanuel Ugorji, confirmed the attack to our correspondent.

“The first attack by this group was attacked on Oil Serve company and second was the kidnapping of the Cluster Development Board Chairman, Godswill Uzomba, whose whereabouts remained unknown since three months now and followed by burning of ZEROC equipment at Watersmith industrial park by a known criminal gang.”

Confirming the Incident to POLITICS NIGERIA, CSP Mike Abattam, the Imo state Police PRO, said that a policeman was also killed in the attack.
