As the political crisis rocking Rivers State takes a new turn, Governor Simnalayi Fubara, has made some changes within his cabinet.
In a statement by the secretary to the Rivers State Government, Tammy Danagogo on Tuesday night, Fubara noted that the changes take immediate effect.
Those affected include the commissioner for Justice and Attorney-General of the state, Prof. Zacchaeus Adangor who has now been redeployed to the Ministry of Special Duties (Governor’s Office).
Fubara also transferred the commissioner for Finance, Isaac Kamalu, to the Ministry of Employment Generation and Economic Empowerment.
The governor asked them to immediately hand over to their respective permanent secretaries.
He said: “They are to hand over to their respective permanent secretaries immediately as this deployment takes immediate effect. All had over processes must be completed immediately”.
Politics Nigeria reports that Fubara fell out with his predecessor, Nyesom Wike, over the political leadership of Rivers State.
