Following the increment in fuel price in Nigeria, queues have resurfaced in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city.
Politics Nigeria on Tuesday, July 18, reported that the price of petrol was reviewed upwardly to N617/per litre by the federal government.
Naturally, this triggered panic buying as motorists raced to filling stations across the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
For instance, reports have it that at AA Rano Filing Station in Utako, vehicles on a long stretch within and outside the facility are obvious.
Abuja is one of the parts of Nigeria where the price adjustment was first implemented, and there is a possibility that major states like Lagos and Rivers will follow suit.
