The announcement came during the 2023 Batch ‘B’ Stream 2 closing ceremony of the NYSC at the State’s Orientation Camp in Kabba Bunu Local Government Area.
In addition to the allowance increment, Governor Bello announced a generous donation of N37.7 million as logistics support for the Youth Corps members.

Furthermore, the Governor delivered a poignant message to the Corps members, urging them to uphold good conduct and embrace Nigeria’s unity spirit.
He emphasised the values of diligence, hard work, commitment, and understanding during their service years, highlighting that these qualities will prepare them to overcome future challenges beyond their NYSC service period.
Governor Bello also commended the State Coordinator of the NYSC, Pastor (Mrs) Adebimpe Williams, for her efforts in improving the camp’s infrastructure and assured that other developmental requests would receive due attention.
