BREAKING: Gun Battle between Police, Unknown Gunmen leaves Several Dead in Anambra [VIDEO]

A gun battle between Unknown gunmen and security operatives in Aguluzigbo, Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State, has led to multiple casualties, Politics Nigeria has gathered.

The intense firefight, which started early on Tuesday, continued for hours until reinforcement of combined security forces arrived to repel the attack.

The official casualty count has yet to be released. However, a trending video circulating online shows the lifeless bodies of several security operatives. The video also shows an unconscious officer who appears to have been severely wounded during the exchange of fire.

State Police Public Relations Officer Tochukwu Ikenga confirmed the incident but refrained from providing a specific casualty count.

“I’m aware of the incident, but yet to confirm the casualty figure. Police operatives resisted the attack and are on the ground to restore calm and normalcy to the area,” he said.

Nigerians are suffering so much right now, food suff too expensive for masses. Nothing good in the country. I prayed for soldiers to take over to current the criminal politicians
