Information reaching POLITICS NIGERIA reports that a group of hoodlums clashed with some Hausa traders in Osogbo, the Osun state capital on Saturday.
It was gathered that a man simply identified as ‘Ikeja’ led the thugs to the market where the Hausa traders normally do their business. Meanwhile, heavily armed policemen were seen moving towards the Sabo area of Osogbo, the state capital.
Though no casualty has been confirmed yet, many people were reportedly injured in the clash.
Police Public Relations Officer for Osun State Command disclosed that policemen have been deployed to the scene and that the situation has been brought under control.
