Hoodlums have forcibly dispersed journalists covering the ongoing protests at Freedom Park in Ojota, Lagos.
Armed with clubs and other dangerous weapons, the hoodlums began harassing and assaulting the journalists present forcing them to leave the area.
FIJ reports that the police observed the violence from a distance, and did not intervene or take any action to protect the reporters.
A video shared on X shows the journalists are from New Central, a television station based in Ogba, Lagos.
