BREAKING: How Nnamdi Kanu was detained, tortured for 8 days in Kenya

Fresh information has emerged on how the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu was detained for 8 days in Kenya.

POLITICS NIGERIA learned that Kanu met with his lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor for the first time since his re-arrest on Friday in Abuja. This was after the DSS granted his application to meet with his client.

Speaking on the meeting, Ejiofor revealed that his Kanu was held in custody by Kenyan authorities for 8 days.

“Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, was actually abducted by the accursed Kenya’s Special Police Force on the 18th of June 2021 at their International Airport, and consequently taken to an undisclosed residence under dehumanising conditions.”

“He was tortured and subjected to all forms of inhuman treatment which worsened his health condition. *He was illegally detained for eight good DAYS in Kenya* before being transfered to their Nigerian counterpart.”

“He was purportedly investigated on a bogus charge while in their custody, ostensibly, awaiting to be handed over after their findings proved him innocent of all the spurious allegations. They later beckoned on their Nigerian Counterpart to take over.”

“Kenyan Government was deeply involved in the abduction, detention and ill-treatment of my Client before the illegal handover to their Nigerian counterpart.”, the lawyer disclosed.

It will be recalled that Kanu was arraigned in court on Tuesday by the Department of State Security Services, DSS and was remanded in their custody till July 26th.

  1. Since one has no right for self determination in nigeria. The FG should take care of the leader of indiginous people of biafra (ipob) mazi nnamdi kanu very well becous if any thing happes to nnamdi kanu am afraid of what may come out of it,and FG has giving igbo’s biafra for arresting kanu becouse kanu has gon far over the issue of biafra so fg should know that they are not hold nnamdi kanu only but the whole world including u s a.

  2. What baffles me is how did a semi illiterate comatose Buhari manage to be running Nigeria as if the country is a poultry chicken farm? Africans under apartheid south Africa were far better off under white rulers than Nigerians under the rule of fulanis. Under apartheid south Africa there were world class hospitals and drinking water. There was also electricity for those who could afford to pay for it. Which is better, to be a slave and live decent if limited standard of life or to be free and live like a pig?
