Ahead of the September 21, governorship election in Edo State, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has begun the distribution of sensitive materials.
It was gathered that the commission started moving these materials on Thursday, September 19, morning to the various local government areas across the stage.
The sensitive materials for the election are packed at the Central Bank of Nigeria along Ring Road in Benin City. It is from this location, under the surveillance of political party agents that the materials are distributed to LGAs.
The process of distributing the materials is being done with the help of buses contracted by INEC for this purpose.
