The first case of Coronavirus recorded in Nigerian involving an Italian has fulled recovered and tested negative.
The 44-year-old, who flew into Nigeria from Milan, Italy, on February 24, had been receiving treatment at the Infectious Disease Hospital in Yaba, Lagos.
This was announced at a press briefing on Thursday. Akin Abayomi, Lagos commissioner for health, said the Italian tested negative for the virus.

He said:
“The index case is now negative. The only reason he is still with us is because he needs two negative tests but he is ready and anxious to go.”
Recall that four more cases of the pandemic have been confirmed on Thursday, making a total of twelve cases in Nigeria.
