The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially released the results of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
At a press briefing on Friday, JAMB Registrar Prof. Ishaq Oloyede revealed that the results of 39,834 candidates are being withheld due to suspected exam malpractice.
More than 1.9 million students took part in the nationwide exam exercise, which has now ended.
Prof. Oloyede also confirmed that 80 individuals have been arrested across different states for their involvement in exam fraud. Anambra State recorded the highest number of suspects, with 14 people currently under investigation.
