A member of the Kano State House of Assembly, Halilu Ibrahim Kundila, has passed on.
It was learnt that the lawmaker who represented Bagwai/Shanono Constituency died in Kano State on the night of Saturday, April 6, 2024.
He was buried on Sunday morning, according to Islamic rites.
The news of Hon Kundila‘s death was contained in a statement by Ismail Mudashir, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin.
Jibrin’s condolence message to the family and relations of the deceased lawmaker described him as hard-working.
“Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiuun. I received the shocking news of the death of Hon. Halilu Ibrahim Kundila,” he said.
“Late Hon. Kundila was a hardworking and committed lawmaker who contributed immensely to the development of our state.
“May Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings, admit him in Jannatul Firdaus and give his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.”
