President Bola Tinubu has nominated Abbas Balarabe to replace former governor Nasir El-rufai as the ministerial nominee for Kaduna State.
Balarabe would be screened by the Senate in the coming days before he is assigned a portfolio by President Tinubu.
Prior to his nomination, Balarabe was the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) of Kaduna State.
He was first appointed under Governor Nasir El-rufai and was retained by Governor Uba Sani.
Politics Nigeria recalls that the Senate had withheld El-Rufai’s confirmation after the screening for security concerns.
