A mob on Saturday afternoon killed a man and burnt him to ashes for alleged blasphemy at Federal Housing, Lugbe, Abuja, POLITICS NIGERIA reports.
Details of the attack are still sketchy, but a video of the illegal act circulating online showed some men watching on as fire consumes the victim.
Police officers are presently at the scene of the event.

Last month, a group of Islamic extremists mobbed, killed and burnt Miss Deborah Samuel, a 200-level student of Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto State, over the alleged blasphemy of Prophet Mohammed. Her killing sparked outrage across the country, with Nigerians demanding for justice for the slain student.
There was also a flurry of condemnation from civil society organisations (CSOs), Muslim leaders and groups, most notably Muhammadu Abubakar, the Sultan of Sokoto.
Subsequently, the police command in Sokoto announced the arrest of two suspects in connection with Deborah’s killing. It arraigned Bilyaminu Aliyu and Aminu Hukunci.
During the court proceedings, the suspects pleaded not guilty to the murder of the deceased.
Khalil Musa, the prosecuting inspector, told the court that the police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. A team of 34 lawyers are leading the defence team.
I think the idea of not my business is destroying Nigeria,more than religion or whatever we may think,is anyone telling me that no one passed through that path while heinous crime was been perpetrated.
