Mr. Christopher Orji, a deputy director of the National biotechnology Development Agency, NABDA has committed suicide in Abuja.
POLITICS NIGERIA gathered that Orji’s corpse was found dangling from a rope tied to a ceiling fan in his apartment at the federal housing authority estate in Lugbe, Abuja on August 30.
Police detectives are still investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
Sources reveal that the deceased had been invited by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on the same day that he was found dead.
It was also gathered that no suicide note was found at the scene of the incident. Orji was the NABDA’s Bioresource Centre coordinator in Langtang, Plateau State.
