Newly appointed ministers Ayodele Olawale, Abbas Lawal Balarabe, and Jamila Biu Ibrahim have taken their seats at the State House in preparation for today’s Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
The trio would be sworn in today by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, weeks after they were appointed and cleared by the Nigerian Senate.
Sources in the presidency told Politics Nigeria that the swearing-in ceremony for the new ministers will take place before the commencement of the FEC meeting so they can immediately join their colleagues for today’s session.
”They are also expected to proceed to their respective ministries after the FEC meeting,” the source added.
Balarabe, the immediate past secretary to the Kaduna state government, is the minister of environment.
Ibrahim is the minister of youth development, while Olawale will deputise her.
