Four new cases of Coronavirus have been confirmed by the Lagos state ministry of health on Thursday.
Briefing newsmen on Thursday, the state commissioner for health, Akin Abayomi said a total of 19 tests were performed on suspected cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, 4 tested positive.
It will be recalled that on Wednesday, five cases were confirmed positive, which brings the total number of infected patients to 9 within 2 days.
POLITICS NIGERIA gathered that the first case is a Nigerian female who returned from France via a Turkish airline (TK 1830) on March 14. The second is a Nigerian man who has never travelled anywhere.
A third patient is a Nigerian man who arrived in Nigeria on March 13, from Frankfurt, Germany aboard a Lufthansa flight.
The ministry is currently tracking over 1,300 people in relation to the deadly coronavirus.
