The Joint Task Force North West Operation HADARIN DAJI (OPHD) has achieved a significant breakthrough by rescuing 31 kidnapped individuals during a recent clearance operation in Sokoto State.
Under the command of Major General Godwin Mutkut, the troops conducted a successful operation on November 21st, targeting terrorist enclaves in Tangaza Local Government Area.
The operation resulted in the liberation of 30 kidnapped persons from Alya Fulani village and Buani forest.
According to a statement posted on the Nigerian Army’s X page, the aggressive troops, exhibiting superior firepower, forced the terrorists to abandon their captives and flee from their camps, ensuring the safety of the rescued individuals.
Continuing their relentless efforts, the troops proceeded to Goboro village, where they successfully rescued an additional female kidnapping victim. The bandits, overwhelmed by the troops’ firepower, hastily dispersed in disarray.
