A former Secretary-General to the Federation(SGF), Babachir Lawal, has said that no one will deny the National leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, an opportunity to contest the 2023 Presidential race.
Lawal made these comments during a recent interview with Punch while speaking on power rotation to the south in 2023. In his words;
“Nobody with a clear conscience in the APC will deny Tinubu the opportunity to contest the Presidency. Nobody within the party has the moral right to even put a stumbling block on his path.”
“The party must create an environment that is free and fair for anybody who wants to contest, including Bola Tinubu. Let the delegates, who must have emerged through a similarly free and fair process, decide who they want to vote for.”
“A just and equitable way of doing things is to agree, as gentlemen, that since the North has had its President for the second tenure, the opportunity should be given to the South to produce the next President.”

Babarchi Lawal, the disgraced former SFG; and Tinubu have only one thing in common- corruption. Lagos is Nigeria but Nigeria is not Lagos. It’s okay for Lawal to dream a Tinubu Presidency but he cannot force Nigerians to elect him except through their stock in trade i.e rigging. This will be vehemently resisted Elections for 2023 may not and should not even hold until the. country is truly restructured.
I believe that southeast nigeria will do well as president federal Republic of nigeria come 2023.
THESE ARE MY REASONS=THEY WILL NOT STEAL GOVERNMENT MONEY’ THEY WILL USE THERE BUSINESS AND ECONOMIC IDEAS TO MANAGE NIGERIA ECONOMIC PROBLEM.

The South East people and its presidential candidacy should be ready for primary election with other candidates in the south. No body can stop any one from the south not to contest. You cannot cry for Biafra and still want to become a zoo president. Not every Nigerians is a fool. Politics is a game of number which you must earn and not a gift
