BREAKING: NSCDC uncovers massive wooden boat used for crude oil theft in Rivers state

The Commandant General’s Special Intelligence Squad (CG SIS) of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has uncovered and destroyed a large hidden wooden fabricated boat with an estimated capacity of over 200,000 litres.

The boat believed to be used by vandals for siphoning and transporting stolen crude oil, was discovered in Rivers State.

The NSCDC’s swift action is a significant blow to illegal oil activities in the region, as the boat was a critical asset for the vandals.

The move is part of ongoing efforts by the NSCDC to crack down on oil theft and related criminal activities in the Niger Delta region.
