Alhaji Murtala Dammallam, Maigarin Mayafasa has died. Mayafasa died in Malumfashi Local Government Area (LGA) of Katsina State.
The deceased was the elder brother to Alhaji Maiwada Dammallam, the Chief of Staff of Solomon Dalung, ex-Minister of Youth and Sports. He is also a prolific social media writer and commentator on both national and international issues.
Dalung shared the sad news on Saturday morning via his known Facebook page.
“Alhaji Murtala’s exit no doubt will create a big vacuum that will be difficult to fill easily. We shall greatly missed him and his fatherly counsel, even though we accepted it as the unquestionable of God,” Dalung said.
“It is written in the Holy Scriptures that every soul shall test death, we therefore God to forgive his shortcomings and reward his good deeds with aljanatu fidausi amen.
“On behalf of my humble self, my family and the staff who served under his able leadership as Chief of Staff, I convey our heartfelt condolences to him and the entire family. May God Almighty, the Master of the day of Judgement grant him the fortitude to overcome this moment of grief, amen. Our hearts is with the Maiwada family,” Dalung mourned.
