POLITICS NIGERIA has been reliably informed that embattled Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, is currently in a closed-door meeting with Prince Uche Secondus, National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abuja.
In attendance also are; Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto as well as other governors of the party.
The meeting is taking place in Governor Wike’s residence. It will be recalled that Obaseki resigned from the APC on Tuesday after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.
