Dr Olaide Adelami has been sworn in as the deputy governor of Ondo State on Thursday, February 1.
Adelami was sworn in by the Chief Judge of the state, Justice Olusegun Odusola, at a ceremony held at the International Culture and Event Centre, Akure.
Politics Nigeria reports that Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa had picked Adelami as deputy governor of Ondo State last week Tuesday.
His name was then forwarded to the Ondo state House of Assembly for screening and ratification.
Adelami previously served as deputy clerk of the National Assembly.
