Highly revered Yoruba Monarch, Ooni of Ife; Adeyeye Babatunde Enitan Ogunwusi has taken a new wife, POLITICS NIGERIA can authoritatively report.
The Ooni’s new wife, Mariam Anako, was officially unveiled at the Palace in Ile-Ife on Wednesday.
This newspaper recalls that the union is coming after her erstwhile Olori, Naomi Shilekunola, publicly called their off their union via social media.
The new bride is from Kogi state and is a top management executive (Administrative Manager) of Nestoil Limited; Nigeria’s largest indigenous Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) Company in the oil and gas sector.
The bride in the company of her family and friends were welcomed into the palace amidst pomp and pageantry. The development was also confirmed by Moses Olafare, the Director of Media and Publicity to Ooni on Tuesday night.
This will be Ooni’s fourth official marriage after his marriages to Bukola, Zainab and most recent, Naomi collapsed.
