BREAKING: Panic in Imo as Gunmen Shoot Two Persons Dead in Broad Daylight

Fear and panic have gripped the community of Akwakuma in Owerri North Council of Imo after two persons were shot dead by Gunmen on Saturday.

The incident caused pandemonium sending traders and commercial bus operators scampering for the safety of their lives and properties.

One of those shot dead was a yet-to-identified Tricycle Operator( Keke).

The unlucky victim was shot dead inside his Keke. The area has been deserted as of the time of this report.

The southeast region has recently witnessed a rise in attacks by unknown gunmen, prompting prominent personalities from the region to call for the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

Kanu is the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, and he is currently in the custody of the Department of State Services.
