Former governor of Anambra state, Mr. Peter Obi has dumped the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Obi announced his resignation in a letter dated 20, addressed to the National Chairman of the party.
POLITICS NIGERIA learned that his resignation from the party maybe connected to the fact that his chances at winning the Party’s primaries were very slim.
In the letter, he revealed that he has also informed the chairman of the PDP in his ward, Agulu Ward II, of his official exit from the party.
It is not yet clear if Obi will run for the President under another party.
