An Ex-Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State, Ebei Peremobowei has decamped from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to the All Progressives Congress, APC in the State.
Peremobowei, a top party chieftain and former speaker of the state house of assembly revealed that it was a ‘difficult’ decision leaving the party explaining that he had been experiencing many instances of disregard and disrespect for due process entrenched in the PDP constitution and electoral guidelines.
Peremobowei said: “I have come to this hard decision after experiencing…disregard and disrespect for due process as entrenched in the PDP constitution and electoral guidelines, high-handedness and desperation of the party’s leadership.”.
