A member representing Gwaram Federal Constituency, Yuguda Hassan Kila is dead.
The deceased, who was chairman of the house Committee on Customs, hails from Kila, Gwaram LGA of Jigawa state.
He died on Thursday afternoon at the National Hospital, Abuja after battling a brief illness. Kila was born in 1951 and attended the he prestigious Barewa College in Zaria before proceeding to the US to attend the College of Palm Beaches, West Palm Beach, Florida, USA.
In 2015, he was elected member of the House of Representatives on the platform of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, to represent Gwaram Constituency.
He was re-elected for the same position in the 2019 general elections.
