An Islamic preacher, Ustadh Abdul Rahman Al Solaty, popularly known as Buhari Omo Musa II, is dead.
Abdul Rahman passed away on Friday in Ilorin, Kwara State. He had been battling an undisclosed sickness in the past month, and was later transferred from Lagos to Ilorin for treatment.
AbdulRahman is best known for imitating Sheikh Buhari Ibn Musa Ajikobi I’s style of preaching.The deceased is an alumnus of Ibadullah Islamic School, Amukoko, Lagos, South-West Nigeria.
He has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
The cause of his death is unknown as of the time of publishing this report.
He is reportedly survived by his parents.
Alhaji Shakirudeen Ayoola, aka Kajue Baba, and Yahya Gambari are some known persons mourning Buhari II’s demise.
Kajue Baba wrote on his known Facebook page on Friday: “Inalillah wa inaillehi Rojihun. Alhaji AbdulRahman saoty buhari 2, return back to his creator. May Allah forgive his shortcomings and accept him in aljanat firdawz. Allahumo Aameen. Ire ooooooooooo.”
Similarly, young blogger, Gambari did a live Facebook video in Buhari II’s honour on Friday evening.
