Popular Yoruba actor, Deji Akinremi, widely known as Olofaina, has been confirmed dead.
He was 73 years old.
Olofaina, a native of Ede in Osun State, spent over four decades in the movie industry right from the era of travelling theatre in the 1960s.
He is widely known for his mastery and usage of the Yoruba language and culture.
The cause of his death cannot be confirmed at press time.
