Fast-rising Nigerian comedian, Tobi Owomoyela, popularly known as Peteru, is dead.
POLITICS NIGERIA learned that Ibadan-based Peteru, who is known for his unique style of mimicking prominent personalities, breathed his last on Wednesday.
The cause of death is not yet known.
This newspaper reports that ‘Peteru Comedy’ only buried his father in November. He is said to be the only son of a family of seven.
The late entertainer is survived by Bryan, his child, who is reportedly with his mother in the United States.
His colleagues and other social media influencers have taken to Instagram and Twitter to mourn his demise.
