Tragic news has struck the heart of the Nigerian film industry as reports confirm the untimely passing of renowned Nollywood director and producer Natty Bruce Idigbogu at the age of 57.
Widely celebrated for his pioneering efforts in martial arts within the Nigerian film landscape, his sudden demise has left the industry in mourning.
Shaibu Husseini, a respected movie journalist and a member of the African Movie Academy Awards jury, took to his official Facebook page to announce the devastating news.
His words: “I have just been reliably informed that light has dimmed on foremost Nollywood’s ‘martial arts’ actor Natty Bruce.
“The green belter was passionate about integrating Martial Arts into Nollywood movies. He also tried to produce a full-length Martial Art movie. Good night Oga Natty. Bye Bye, Sir.”
