BREAKING: President Buhari Dissolves Cabinet

President Muhammadu Buhari has dissolved the Federal Executive Council (FEC), marking the conclusion of the current administration.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the official announcement was made through a late Sunday night memo.

The FEC comprises esteemed officials, including the president, vice president, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, the president’s Chief of Staff, Head of Service, and Ministers.

This dissolution indicates a substantial change in the structure of the Nigerian government.

As the country anticipates a new era, President-elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to be inaugurated as Nigeria’s next leader today, on May 29th.

Recall that in his remark at the valedictory session held at the State House Council Chamber on Wednesday, the President thanked all the ministers for their steadfastness in pursuing the goals of the administration, urging support for the incoming President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

President Buhari appreciated the ministers for working closely together, despite many odds and challenges and sustaining the synergy that translated into many achievements.

“I am proud to say we gave our best,’’ he said.
