Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari will be addressing the country on Monday evening. The president’s address is coming at the expiration of the first phase of easing the COVID-19 lockdown.
This was announced by the national coordinator of the presidential task force on COVID-19, Aliyu Sani during an interview on ‘Sunday Politics’, a programme on Channels TV.
He revealed that the president’s address will majorly focus on whether or not the country will proceed with the second phase of easing the lockdown.
It will be recalled that the President shut down Lagos, Abuja and Ogun states for almost a month following an outbreak of the Coronavirus.
