The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has called on President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to declare his assets publicly.
SERAP made the call to President Tinubu via Twitter on Thursday, August 24.
The organisation called on the president to emulate the legacy of former former President Musa Yar’Adua.
It also asked Tinubu to publish his asset declaration promptly and encourage his deputy, Kashim Shettima to follow suit.
Furthermore, SERAP urged the president to make his ministers do the same, adding that this would serve the public interest.
SERAP’s tweet read:
“We’re again calling on President Tinubu to emulate the good example of former President Yar’Adua by promptly publishing his asset declaration and encouraging his Vice-President and ministers to follow suit.
“This would serve the public interest.”
