Rivers State Sole Administrator, Vice Admiral (Rtd.) Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas, CFR, has summoned suspended Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his Deputy, Dr. Ngozi Ordu, to appear before him at the Government House in Port Harcourt.
According to a special announcement issued on Tuesday and signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Ibibia Lucky Worika, the summon is part of an official inquiry into appointments made during the Fubara administration over the past two years.
Fubara has been directed to present comprehensive documentation and records related to appointments made while in office, including the rationale and procedures that guided those decisions. The inquiry, the announcement states, will also allow the suspended governor to “provide a clear and detailed explanation as to why he believes he should be reinstated to office.”
Both the suspended governor and his deputy are expected to appear in person on Friday, April 18, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at the Conference Room of the Rivers State Government House.
The notice emphasized that attendance is mandatory, and forms part of what the Sole Administrator describes as a broader effort to “restore transparency, accountability, and lasting peace in the governance of Rivers State.”

The sole administrator doesn’t have the right to summon the suspended governor and his deputy for any question as regards appointed made, it’s only the court that can summon them if there is a case against them. He is definitely over stepping his bound.
The sole administrator is mad. Who gave him tye power. He is a fake administrator.
I absolutely think so too
You are 100% correct my brother, when you give a mile to a corrupt minded and disrespectful person he will always want to take a yard .
Exactly, he lacks the power and audacity to summon an elected democratic government.
Believe me Nigeria is gradually becoming a lawness country
That’s absurd. Illegitimate inviting legitimate for inquiry. This man ibas get malaria iba
Is like a p c is a cartel , where else on earth can this nonsense happen if not Nigeria.A country where all manner of abnormalities take place on a daily basis.
Thats an insult to the suspended Governor and his deputy… Nigeria is getting funny day by day
Simply ask that your gullible self if it is constitutional to suspend a governor if the need arise ok. Go and learn your home work very well before coming out publicly to expose your emptiness politically ok

All you need to do, is to walk down to Rives state government house and caution him not to oversteping his boundaries… You really need malaria and typhoid drugs seriously…
Highly provocative for the Sole Admin to invite the Governor and Deputy for questioning.
Sim Fubara is a complete sinner, we all knew that…
You be anus for vomiting this rubbish your gutter you call mouth
And the Solad is d one without sin I guess.
You just talked like someone without sense
What kind of explanation? How dare you invite an elected Governor to come and explain to “you” how he(the Governor) conducted the affairs of government while in office? Were you elected by the Rivers people to take over from Governor Fubara? If you are playing Wike’s bidding, sorry. Take it from me, the President will deny you that day and you’ll be left with Wike who will also deny you instantly. Learn from those that have wined and dined with Wike before now.

Governor Fubara still have immunity and what the this so called sole administrator is an illegitimate and illegal person in that office. This action of the sole administrator portrait him as if he had overthrow a democratically elected government in River State. Tinubu should call him to order.
Correct

Does he have the constitutional right to summon him?. What an indult?
As a legitimate citizen, you have every right to walk down to Rivers state government house and caution him ok. Just go there now and stop ranting like a pussycat here abeg
See your animal like response. It’s no body’s problem but the writer’s fault. Mr Ibas has no right to summon but can invite the State Governor under suspension for discussion and way forward. Has he contested and won councilorship? To come to Rivers State and summon a state governor. That language is a slap on the face Rivers people. Make thunder fire the author and the sole administrator if he actually said so.
Illegitimate local sim supporters making illegitimate unnecessary noise here, hahaha. Ndi ara
Which way Nigeria because the people can no longer learn anything better from this our leaders anymore.
He doesn’t have the right to summon Sim, if I where Sim I won’t honour the summon
Space between you and common sense is like the length of two goal pitches…
Yes I agree with Ur submissions. Are we under military detectorship? This is very unfortunate. God, interven on this issue. We are moving towards anarchy.
The so called sole administrator is a butterfly thinking himself a bird who gave him the authority to summoned an elected governor to give him account how he ran his government . Did he forgets that he is an opportunist through Tinubu
Ibas is over reacting himself. He hasn’t that right this a serving governor. He is acting a script given him by his sponsor wike and tinubu. The governor and his deputy would never answer him. It’s a situation of illegitimate child asking a prince in a palace to bow down and greet him. If I were him I would be very careful of my actions because I would be held accountable. A word is enough for the wise.
Useless country
Hummmmmmm, this is getting out of hand oooooo. This is not the definition of democracy. This is powercracy. The only thing I know is that LIFE is temporary. What is your LEGACY?
Idiris Abdulkareem should better re echo this his song to the hearing of some Administrators in places like Rivers and maybe Face should remix his kolo mental song as well because some people din dey kolo
Na whao ooooooooo
