Nigeria’s Minister for Transport, Rotimi Amaechi escaped death by Whiskers after he was attacked by certain individuals in Spain.
The Minister announced this via twitter earlier today. He wrote;
“Some minutes ago, I was attacked by a few misguided Nigerians while on national assignment at a climate change event in Madrid, Spain.”
“They were quickly repelled by the Spanish police before they could do any harm. I am fine. I was not hurt. Thanks for your support & prayers.”
There are suspicions that the attackers could be members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB as they vowed to attack Nigerian Public Officers whenever they are abroad.
The group made headlines after they assaulted Former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu a few months ago.

Instead of embarking on politics of bitterness against individual in diaspora, my plea is shealth the sword and be part of politics by coming and paticipating actively in the administration of the land. God bless our country.
My dear do you see this govt like a govt that will anybody to come and participate? I don’t think so.
We are not happy for such action but it is big lesson for any politicians who cares to learn and read the handwriting on the wall that they cannot robbed Nigerian and think of solace abroad prosterity will never forgive them so let politicians fulfill their campaign promises GOD BLESS NIGERIA.
