Nigeria’s Former Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki alongside Ex-Governor, Olagunsoye Oyinlola met with Ex-President, Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo, behind closed-doors on Tuesday.
The meeting which held around 12pm was held at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library(OOPL). POLITICS NIGERIA learned that the meeting was connected with consultations ahead of the 2023 Presidential elections.
It will also be recalled that Saraki is currently the head of a reconciliation and Strategy Committee setup by the leadership of his party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. He has held several high profile meetings over the last two weeks in order to unite warring factions of the party.
Also present at the library were Ibrahim Shehu Shema, Ibrahim Hassan Dankwanbo and Liyel Imoke.
