Sarkin tsaftar Kano, Alhaji Jafar Ahmad Gwarzo, has died, POLITICS NIGERIA reports.

Alhaji Gwarzo died on Wednesday in Saudi Arabia.

Abubakar Aminu Ibrahim, the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Social Media to Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Governor of Kano State, expressed his grief.

“May God have mercy on the soul of Sarkin Tsaftar Kano, Alhaji Jaafaru Ahmed Gwarzo, who died today in Saudi Arabia,” Ibrahim wrote on his official Facebook page.

The cause of the death of Alhaji Gwarzo cannot be immediately confirmed.
