The Senate Committee on Entertainment Economy, led by its Chairman, Senator Elisha Abbo has arrived in Lagos State.
The committee will proceed on a condolence visit to the family of the deceased Nigerian rapper songwriter, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as MohBad.
The committee had earlier expressed condolences and sympathies to the grieving family as they came to terms with their beloved MohBad’s tragic loss.
Mohbad died on Tuesday, September 12, sparking outrage in the country after videos of him being bullied by his former record label bosses surfaced on social media.
The late rapper had significantly contributed to the Nigerian entertainment industry and left a lasting impact on the music scene.
Accompanying the Senate Committee were prominent Nollywood personalities Tonto Dikeh and Iyabo Ojo.
The loss of MohBad has sent shockwaves throughout the Nigerian entertainment industry.
The Lagos governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and the state police command have also assured fans of the late rapper that justice would be done.
